Google Ads and Microsoft Ads management · Shropshire
PPC management in Shropshire for Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
Most businesses only advertise on Google. I run your search ads on Google and Microsoft as one plan, so you reach more of the people looking for what you sell, and every enquiry is tracked back to the search that produced it.

Is your search advertising pulling its weight?
Plenty of clicks, not many calls.
You can see the spend going out but can't match it to the work coming in.
Only ever on Google.
Your ads have never run on Bing, so part of your market never sees you.
Set up once, then left alone.
The campaigns were built a while ago and nobody has looked at them properly since.
Reports not answering the question
Plenty of charts, and still no clear answer on whether it's paying off.
Every one of these can be fixed. The 60-second audit shows you which ones apply to your account.
Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, run as one plan
Google gets most of the attention, but Microsoft Advertising puts your ads in front of people Google doesn’t reach. I plan and manage both together, with the same attention on each.
- The biggest share of UK searches
- Search, Performance Max, YouTube and Display, used where they suit your goals
- Usually the first place your customers look
- Ads on Bing and partner sites including Yahoo and DuckDuckGo, and in Microsoft Copilot
- Bing is the default search engine in Windows and the Edge browser, used on many work computers
- LinkedIn profile targeting, so B2B advertisers can reach people by company, industry or job role
Plenty of local businesses never switch Microsoft Ads on, which often means fewer rivals bidding on the same searches. Running both also lets me move budget to whichever platform is doing better that month.
What you get each month
I do all the work on your account myself and explain the reasoning behind every change I make.
An account built around your margins
Campaigns organised by what you sell and what each sale is worth, on both platforms.
Weekly search term reviews
New keywords added and irrelevant searches blocked, on Google and Microsoft.
Ads written for buyers
Copy tested regularly to find the messages that bring in enquiries.
Bids and budgets led by results
Spend goes to the times, places and searches that produce leads, and shifts between platforms when one pulls ahead.
Tracking both platforms agree on
Google Tag Manager, GA4, Microsoft UET, call and form tracking, and consent set up so both platforms record the same enquiries.
A report and a plan
Each month: what was spent, what it produced, what I changed and what I’m testing next.
See what's working in your account and what isn't
Answer a few questions about your current search ads and get an instant view of where your spend is going. It takes about a minute and there’s no obligation.
What a specialist brings to your account
I’ve run paid search for large UK brands and for small local firms. The job is the same at any size: work out what a lead is worth, find the searches that produce them, and stop paying for the rest.
Experience shows in the detail. A tracking gap, a conversion figure that’s counting the wrong thing, a keyword slowly eating budget. I’ll usually spot these before they show up in your results.
Each month I bring at least one new idea to test, such as a new campaign type, a different audience or a change to your landing page. That keeps your account moving forward instead of ticking over.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does PPC management cost?
Management starts at £299 a month plus VAT. That covers Google Ads and Microsoft Ads management; tracking setup, consultancy and other work are quoted separately. Your exact fee depends on your ad spend, and I’ll confirm it in writing once I’ve reviewed your account. Your ad spend is separate and goes straight to Google or Microsoft.
How much should I spend on ads?
It depends on how competitive your searches are and what a customer is worth to you. Many local businesses start somewhere between £500 and £1,500 a month across both platforms. I’ll give you a realistic figure for your market when I review your account.
Why advertise on Microsoft Ads as well as Google?
It reaches people searching on Bing, which is the default on Windows and in Edge, plus Microsoft’s partner sites. Fewer advertisers use it, so the same searches can face less competition. Running both lets me move budget to whichever is performing better.
Can you take over my existing account?
Yes. Your history, data and conversion tracking stay in place. I start with an audit, keep what’s working and fix what isn’t.
Who owns the ad accounts?
You do. I manage them with your permission. If you leave, you keep the accounts, the campaigns and all the data.
How quickly will I see results?
Ads can show the same day they go live. The first month is mostly about gathering data and cutting out irrelevant traffic, with steadier results from months two and three.
How do you measure success?
By the enquiries and sales your ads produce, and what each one costs you. We agree the targets at the start and I report against them every month.
What do you need from me to get started?
Access to your Google Ads and Microsoft Ads accounts (or I’ll set them up for you), access to your website’s Tag Manager, and an hour to talk through your business.
I tried search ads before and they didn't work. Why would it be different now?
In most accounts I see, the problem is the setup rather than the channel: broad keywords, no negative keywords, or tracking that doesn’t record enquiries. A free review of your account will show whether that applies to you.
Are you a PPC Agency?
I’m an independent PPC specialist rather than an agency. You get the same Google Ads and Microsoft Ads management a PPC agency provides, with the person who plans your campaigns also being the one who runs them.
